The Virgin Mary?I think we all know the truthnot this
Thanks to the Bad Astronomer for this bit of hilarity:Family Sees Virgin Mary On Living Room

One item to note is the way the article is written:

A New Mexico family is counting its blessings after it discovered an image of the Virgin Mary on their living room wall, reported KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, N.M.

Kinda sounds like they actually found an image of The Virgin Mary(tm), doesn’t it? No semblance of objectivity here. As you can tell from my analysis, this is obviously not an image of The Virgin Mary. The Virg,

as she is known in certain circles, does not have the time or inclination to appear as stains on walls, burn marks on toast, or dirt on highway columns. You’d think that as The Mother of all Mothers, her followers

would know that she would get top billing in any appearance, accompanied by an entourage, and possibly have a very small dog in a purse.

Quintana said the last three years they’ve been living in the house, dealing with difficult times. She this is a sign that the new year will bring positive change. She has no plans to change the wall.

One positive change could be the value of their house. They should sell the house to some True Believer and make as much money as possible of the deal.

What candidate can come out against attack ads by showing one? Huckabee, of course!

In a news conference on 31 December 2007, Huckabee, surrounded by “Enough is Enough!” banners, came out against negative attack ads. He said that he wasn’t going to air any. He would turn the other cheek, just like his Invisible Sky Buddy.

Then, he showed the ad that he as preparing to release before he had his epiphany about attack ads.

What cajones! How can you not like this guy?

I think he really thinks that he was doing the right thing by showing the very thing he swore he wouldn’t show. This kind of hypocrisy can only be found in hard-core christians and politicians, and Huckabee is both. He’s perfect!
